Sarah Elisabeth

Light-seeker, introvert, quiet companion, learning believer. Married to my best friend, Mama to two little birds. Wanna-be homesteader, chicken and bunny mama, trying desperately to keep my garden alive in the middle of the desert.

I love gift-giving and small-business shopping and handmade goodness. Iced coffee speaks to my soul. Dark chocolate during nap time. Fresh flowers in glass jars and doors and windows thrown wide whenever we can.

I can't keep my floors clean to save my life. I have OCD. I'm a homebody longing to travel the world. I want more than anything to live wholeheartedly and life-givingly. I am a sinner in need of Jesus and learning to give grace as often as I receive it. I am a deep-feeler and I am learning to love that about myself.  I want to document real moments and deep connections. You are so welcome here.

Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on.
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain
are moving across the landscapes,
over the prairies and the deep trees,
the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
